Daniel Gillies stars in the new horror road trip thriller Coming Home in the Dark directed by James Ashcroft for which a trailer has now been released.

Erik Thomson, Miriama McDowell, Matthias Luafutu co-star with Gillies in the movie co-written by Ashcroft and Eli Kent, based on a short story by Owen Marshall. A family outing is disturbed by two drifters, who force them on a horrifying road trip. The film premiered at Sundance.

It will be released in the US by Dark Sky Films on October 1.
