Netflix’s new 1990s-based limited series Brand New Cherry Flavor arrives on August 13, and the streamer has released a longer trailer.

A filmmaker heads to Hollywood in the early ’90s to make her movie but tumbles down a hallucinatory rabbit hole of sex, magic, revenge – and kittens. Brand New Cherry Flavor stars Rosa Salazar, Catherine Keener, Eric Lange, Jeff Ward and Manny Jacinto. The series is created by Nick Antosca and Lenore Zion based on the novel by Todd Grimson.
