Among the news about their new movie, Jungle Cruise, producers John Davis and John Fox revealed that a Predator prequel, Skull, is mid-filming.

The script is by Patrick Aison and is being directed by Dan Trachtenberg. It features a female lead and tells of the Predators’ first arrival on Earth – suggesting that it is a period piece. “It actually has more akin to The Revenant than it does any film in the Predator canon.
