At the panel for their new zombie drama Day of the Dead at Comic-Con at Home, Syfy released further details and a first trailer.

Described as “an ode to” George A. Romero, the series – due some point in October – follows six strangers as they attempt to survive the first 24 hours of a zombie invasion.

Keenan Tracey and Natalie Malaika star alongside Daniel Doheny, Kristy Dinsmore and newcomer Morgan Holmstrom. The graphic trailer is below.
