Brightburn’s Brian and Mark Gunn are adapting the Aftershock comics series The Kaiju Score for Sony and Escape Artists, according to a report at Deadline.

The story, about a heist being planned during a kaiju attack, was described by its co-creator James Patrick as a “Quentin Tarantino film taking place in some corner of a Godzilla movie.” The comicbook, illustrated by Rem Broo, was first released in November 2020.
