The Chucky Syfy/USA series is due to arrive later this year, and ahead of the full trailer being unleashed during Comic-Con on July 25, the network has released a short teaser.

Showing how Chucky finds his new home, the teaser promises that Brad Dourif’s distinctive laugh is alive and well – and Chucky is living up to his deadly ways.

The focus will be on a group of teenagers, centred around Zackary Arthur’s young artist.

The show debuts October 12.
