Various genre shows are represented in the nominations for the 2021 Emmys.

In total, “The Mandalorian” tied for the top spot for programme nominations with 24 followed by “WandaVision” (23), “The Handmaid’s Tale” (21), and “Lovecraft Country” (18).

In the main categories:

Paul Bettany is up for Lead Actor, Limited Series, Movie or Anthology for WandaVision with Elizabeth Olsen nominated for Lead Actress, Limited Series, Movie or Anthology.

Both The Underground Railroad and WandaVision are nominated for Best Limited Series.

Elisabeth Moss is in contention for Best Actress, Drama for The Handmaid’s Tale, as is Jurnee Smollett for Lovecraft Country.

Jonathan Majors in nominated for Best Actor, Drama for Lovecraft Country.

Best drama series is being fought between The Boys, The Handmaid’s Tale, Lovecraft Country and The Mandalorian – as well as The Crown, Bridgerton, Pose and This Is Us.
