The second box set featuring Planet of the Dead’s Lady Christina is now out.

It’s a family affair for Michelle Ryan’s Lady Christina this time around.

The trio of new full cast audio adventures finds the popular Doctor Who aristocratic adventurer catching up with her father Lord Alfred (William Gaminara) and great-aunt Lady Eugenia (Siân Phillips), whilst uncovering family secrets and dodging the interests of UNIT’s Sam Bishop (Warren Brown) and Jacqui McGee (Tracy Wiles).

Jetsetter, adventurer, and owner of a very unusual London bus, Lady Christina de Souza is travelling the globe and catching up with the rellies.

First, a treasure hunt with her reprobate father in the Indian Ocean. Then, a flying visit to the Australian outback in search of a lost Great Aunt… But Sam Bishop and Jacqui McGee of UNIT are on her trail.

As one reunion takes a dangerous turn, Christina has a hard decision to make – for the good of the family!

The cast is completed by Delroy Atkinson (It’s A Sin, Transference), Rosa Coduri (Rare Beasts, Pennyworth), Clive Hayward (The Diary of River Song, Space: 1999), Joseph Kloska (The Crown, Pete Vs Life), James Smillie (Return to Eden, Space: 1999), and Big Finish newcomer Sarah Blackstone.

Producer David Richardson said: “I love how much Michelle Ryan cares about the character and this audio range. There’s a lovely collaboration between us all on Lady Christina. Michelle is always contributing ideas, looking for ways to make things better if they can be made better – you’ll find that many of the settings and ideas in this new volume were inspired by things that Michelle suggested.”

Michelle Ryan added: “We’ve had the best time recording these adventures – we’ve had people over in Australia, up in Scotland, all plugged in to the studio by our brilliant tech team. Everybody’s bringing their A-game because the writing’s really good, and there’s so much energy.

“It’s been so great to put her boots back on and get back in the studio – I’ve really had a brilliant time!”

Lady Christina: Series 2 is now available as a collector’s edition CD (at £19.99) or digital download (at £16.99), exclusively from the Big Finish website.
