There’s been a lot of excitement around The Tomorrow War, which launched for the Independence Day weekend. Greg D. Smith wasn’t impressed.

 It has all the right elements to be something quite special – an all-star cast, a not inconsiderable budget and a director whose debut in the director’s chair was the Lego Batman Movie. Why then, is it so crushingly mediocre?
