Helstrom’s Sydney Lemmon has been cast in the Blumhouse adaptation of Stephen King’s Firestarter.
She will play Charlie McGee’s mother, the wife of Zac Efron’s Andy McGee. Intriguingly, she’s not been named as Victoria Tomlinson, the character’s name in the book. Ryan Keira Armstrong plays Charlie, with Gloria Reuben and Michael Greyeyes also cast. Keith Thomas is directing from a script by Scott Teems.
