Jackson White looks set to be playing Judd Crandall in the latest instalment of the Pet Semetary series for Paramount Players.

Deadline is reporting that White is in final negotations for the role – the character who introduces the central family to the Semetary of the title. Given White’s relative age to the character in the book (who is much older) this could suggest that the new movie is a prequel.
