Never knowingly underplayed – Colin Baker’s performance on Blake’s 7 was supposedly the cause of Paul Darrow going over the top in his appearance in a Sixth Doctor story. The character’s back in the first of the Avalon box set
Bayban has quite a bit more to him for this tale – which bodes well for his own box set that’s coming in the not too distant future – but Baker can still let rip when required (his final scene is about as maniacal as they come).
