A new Thai-Korean horror movie The Medium (aka Rang-Zong) is heading to festival circuits later this year, with a first trailer now available to view.

According to Variety, the movie tells the story of a shaman’s inheritance in the poor Isan region of Thailand, where the spirit that appears to be possessing a family member might not be the benevolent goddess they believe it to be.

Thai director Banjong Pisanthanakun has helmed the film, which is being distributed by Showbox.
