Casey Likes and E’myri Crutchfield are set to star in David Slade’s movie of Norman Partridge’s Dark Harvest for MGM.
Deadline is reporting that the pair will play the rebellious pair who are determined to find the legendary nightmare that haunts their small mid-Western town. Every year a supernatural ghost rises from the cornfields and makes its way toward the town’s Church, where violent gangs of teenage boys hungrily await their chance to confront the legendary nightmare in an annual harvest rite of life and death. Likes will play Richie whose brother won last year, and teams up with Crutchfield’s Kelly Haines.
The movie is expected to film from August for a September 2022 release.
