Following on from the success of their series The Doctors, which focused on the stars of Doctor Who, Reeltime Pictures are now preparing a series of Behind the Scenes interview discs.

These will follow a similar pattern – same look and style of content/glass mastered/6 MMS/etc.) and feature production staff and some featured and bit part actors.

The first one will be RTP0545 THE DOCTORS – THE JON PERTWEE YEARS – BEHIND THE SCENES Vol. 1, price £11.50, release date 12th July 2021.

These five documentaries are the best in-depth interviews with Barry Letts (Producer), Terrance Dicks (Script Editor/Writer), Don Houghton (Writer), Christopher Barry (Director), Paul Bernard (Director), plus actors Anna Barry, Damaris Hayman, Terence Lodge and Valentine Palmer, ever undertaken. The set is presented by “voice of the Daleks” Nicholas Briggs.

All of them will be limited edition 1000 copies. Once they sell out, they will not be duplicated again as the cost will be too high.

If the first one sells well enough, the second will be: RTP0546 THE DOCTORS – THE WILLIAM HARTNELL YEARS – BEHIND THE SCENES.

This will include Verity Lambert (Producer),  John Wiles (Producer), Donald Tosh (Script Editor), Waris Hussain (Director), Dennis Spooner (Writer), Paul Erickson (Writer), Tristram Cary (Composer),  plus actors  Lyn Ashley, Susanna Carroll, John Cater, Edward De Souza and Fiona Walker.

NB The release of the William Hartnell Years disc is completely contingent on sufficient sales of The Jon Pertwee Years,
