The third season of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys is in production, and showrunner Eric Kripke has released an image of Jensen Ackles with a rather different look to one we’re used to from Supernatural.

Kripke previously noted, “As Soldier Boy, the very first Superhero, [Ackles will] bring so much humour, pathos, and danger to the role. I can’t wait to be on set with him again, and bring a bit of Supernatural to The Boys.”

No date has yet been given for the release of Season 3.
