Norman Lloyd, whose career as an actor stretched back to 1927, has died aged 106.
To genre fans, he was known for his acting work on One Step Beyond, Night Gallery, The Nude Bomb (a Get Smart reunion), The Twilight Zone (as Merlin), Amityville Horror: The Evil Escapes, Star Trek: The Next Generation (as Professor Galen), the 1995 TV movie The Omen (not connected to the Seltzer series) and Seven Days. Many would include his long run on St Elsewhere as being a genre credit.
He was also a talented producer working on Hitchcock’s various TV shows (after appearing for Hitchcock in Saboteur). as well as executive producing Journey to the Unknown and producing the US Tales of the Unexpected.
