Greg D. Smith had high hopes for The Bad Batch, but so far the series isn’t really doing anything too different…

It reminds me in a way of Rogue One – a nice bit of fan service that will appeal to long term franchise aficionados, but lacking anything that will drag in new comers. A shame.
