Grace Gummer will have a key role in the new TV pilot of Let the Right One In.

Variety reports that the Extant star will be playing Claire. The heiress of a pharmaceutical empire, Claire is a brilliant scientist who turned down the family’s billion-dollar business to pursue a humbler, nobler career in disease research. But her life gets turned upside down when her estranged, ailing father summons her home and reveals a terrible secret.

In the TV version, Demián Bichir’s Mark is a father who keeps his 12 year old daughter locked in after she was turned into a vampire 10 years earlier. Anika Noni Rose has also been cast, with Andrew Hinderaker showrunning and Seith Mann directing the pilot.
