Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

There’s not that much representing SFB’s genres in this year’s major BAFTA TV nominations, bar Jodie Comer once more up for Best Actress for Killing Eve, but various shows do get recognised.

Inside No. 9 gains two nominations – for Reece Shearsmith for Male Performance in a Comedy Programme and Best Scripted Comedy, for which Ghosts is also nominated.

Luke Skywalker’s arrival in The Mandalorian is one of the moments up for Virgin Media’s Must-See Moment, while Lovecraft Country has been nominated for the International Award.

In the Craft Awards, the score for the third part of The Third Day is nominated; Devs receives a nod in the Photography and Lighting: Fiction; His Dark Materials is nominated for Production Design, and Sound: Fiction.

The teams for His Dark Materials, War of the Worlds and Cursed are vying with The Crown for Special, Visual and Graphic Effects and Dracula is nominated for Titles and Graphic Identity;
