Impossible Dream Entertainment & Lienzo Gaming Studio are working on Aztech, a cinematic adaptation of the new videogame Aztech Forgotten Gods.
Deadline is reporting that the game – a revised version of Aztec history which involves an extraterrestrial antagonist, set in a world where Cortes and his crew did not wipe out the civilisation – is due out later this summer.
“With Aztech, it’s fun to envision what world building can be achieved through the many multi-dimensional characters, the mythology and vast cultural storylines,” Impossible Dream’s Shaun Redick said.
Yvonne Yates Redick added: “As a Latina producer and with roots in Chihuahua, Mexico, I am proud to be collaborating with Lienzo, and bringing to light the legends and rich history of Mexico with Aztech.”
