Disney and the Jim Henson Company are working on a biopic of Muppet creator Jim Henson.

His daughter Lisa is in charge of the project which will be a live-action movie focused around Henson’s attempts to bring the Muppets to the screen. Deadline is reporting that Michael Mitnick is rewriting the original script by Aaron and Jordan Kandell. The project has been under consideration for over a decade, although there has been no progress until recently.
