Leigh Whannell’s reinvention of The Invisible Man was the clear winner at the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards on April 18.
The awards were broadcast for the first time on Shudder worldwide recognising achievement in the horror genre.
The Invisible Man won Best Wide Release Movie, Best Kill (the restaurant scene), Best Lead Performance (Elisabeth Moss), and Best Director and Best Screenplay, both to Whannell.
Color Out of Space won both Best Limited Release Movie and Best Creature FX. Possessor won Best Score and Best Makeup FX.
Host was Best Streaming Premiere, while What We Do In the Shadows was Best Series.
