Gabriel Luna – star of the most recent Terminator film and Agents of SHIELD’s Ghost Rider – is becoming one of The Last of Us.

He will play Tommy, the younger brother of Pedro Pascal’s Joel, a former soldier who hasn’t lost his sense of idealism and hope for a better world.

Based on the Playstation game, the HBO series is set twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Hardened survivor Joel is hired to smuggle Ellie (played by Bella Ramsey), a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse across the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.
