Felix SIlla, best known for playing Cousin Itt in The Addams Family and the comical drone Twiki in Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, has died aged 84.
In addition to these long running roles, Silla played a “hang-gliding Ewok” in Star Wars’ Return of the Jedi, and appeared in the original Star Trek pilot, The Cage. Other genre roles included Planet of the Apes (1968), Demon Seed (1977) and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, as well as an extensive career in stuntwork from E.T. to Batman Returns.
His co-star on Buck Rogers posted the news on Twitter shortly after revealing Silla was going into hospice care.
