Star Trek costume designer Robert Fletcher has died, aged 98.
Fletcher worked on the first four of the Star Trek film series, establishing the looks of various races, notably the Klingons and Vulcans as seen through those movies and later. He won a Saturn Award for Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. He discussed his work on the DVD release of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan in 20002.
He returned to the franchise for the fan-made Star Trek: New Voyages in 2007. His work also graced Caveman (1981), The Last Starfighter (1984), and Fright Night (1985).
He was predominantly known as a stage designer and was a three-time Tony Award nominee.
