There were multiple award ceremonies over the weekend with genre winners, including the Art Directors Guild on Friday 9 April; the BAFTAs and the Guild of Music Supervisors on Sunday 11.

Tenet won Best Fantasy Feature Film at the Art Directors Guild (ADG)

Soul was awarded Best Animated Film at the ADG; it won Best Animation and Best Original Score at the BAFTAs; and Best Music Supervision for Film Budgeted Over $25 Million at the Guild of Music Supervisors (GMS).

The Mandalorian won Best One-Hour Period or Fantasy Single-Camera Series at the ADG for episode 13

What We Do in the Shadows was recognised for Best Half-Hour Single-Camera Series at the ADG

His House won Outstanding Debut by a British writer, director or producer for Remi Weekes, who said, “This is for the immigrants, migrants and asylum seekers — the Black, Brown and Queer people who have nurtured me and lifted me up in my life. I look forward to doing the same in return.”

Watchmen “season 1” gained Best Music Supervision – Television Drama, and Best Song Written and/or Recorded for Television for “The Way It Used to Be” in episode 6.
