The fifth movie in The Purge sequence will be arriving in US cinemas a week early, after Top Gun: Maverick moved from July to November.

The Forever Purge will now begin on July 2nd, matching the previous two films in the series’ release on Independence Day weekend. James DeMonaco once again wrote the script, which will be directed by Everardo Gout. It means i will avoid a direct clash with Marvel’s Black Widow, out in cinemas and on Disney+ on July 9.
