The fifth Indiana Jones film is starting to gain momentum, with news that Phoebe Waller-Bridge is on board to play the female lead.

Waller-Bridge will appear in the film to be directed by James Mangold. The movie is scheduled to debut in July 2022, so filming will need to get underway shortly.

“I’m thrilled to be starting a new adventure, collaborating with a dream team of all-time great filmmakers,” Mangold said in a statement. “Steven, Harrison, Kathy, Frank, and John are all artistic heroes of mine. When you add Phoebe, a dazzling actor, brilliant creative voice and the chemistry she will undoubtedly bring to our set, I can’t help but feel as lucky as Indiana Jones himself.”

No details on which decade it’ll be set, or locations have yet been revealed. The only confirmed name to appear so far is Harrison Ford as Indy.
