Toby Longworth – whose voice will be very familiar to fans of Warhammer and Big Finish audios – is releasing two new series of audio readings – Gothic Tales and Futures Past.

Longworth told Sci-Fi Bulletin, “Most people will know me for the work l have done for Games Workshop, particularly the Dan Abnett books. These dark tales of Gothic splendour and colossal themes have inspired me to record a selection of classic stories that I think have a similar atmosphere of lurking horror and existential dread…

The first Gothic Tale is The Castle of Otranto’, written by Horace Walpole in 1764, and the first Future Past is A Martian Odyssey written by Stanley G Weinbaum in 1934. Enjoy.
