The penultimate episode of this season of Pennyworth – and hopefully there’ll be news about a third season soon – ends in one of the best shots of any series in recent time…

As is often the case with the show, it won’t won many awards for straight up originality, but as a feelgood romp through a stylishly noir rendition of an alternate Sixties London in chaos, it’s absolutely worth the price of admission.
