We may now never learn who gets to the Moon first, as Disney+ has elected not to proceed with further episodes of The Right Stuff.

However, according to Deadline, Warner Bros. Television are seeking a new home for the show (the first scripted show to be axed by Disney+). Deadline suggests that Disney+ had been seeking to jump forward into the 1980s (in a similar manner to the fiction series For All Mankind).
