A two-volume tribute to Doctor Who author and script editor Terrance Dicks will be published this August, comprising ten of his novelisations of stories from the classic Doctor Who era.

Each volume contains five stories, chosen by fans: Volume 1 has The Dalek Invasion of Earth, The Abominable Snowmen, The Wheel in Space, The Auton Invasion and Day of the Daleks

Volume 2 has Genesis of the Daleks, Pyramids of Mars, Talons of Weng-Chiang, Horror of Fang Rock and The Five Doctors.

“I think if you can get a kid reading for pleasure, not because it’s work, but actually reading for pleasure, it’s a great step forward. It can start with me, you know, start with Dicks and work its way up to Dickens – as long as you get them reading.”  – Terrance Dicks

Each volume has an RRP of £25, and is released on 26 August, with introductions by Frank Cottrell-Boyce and Robert Webb.
