The Image comic Tokyo Ghost is coming to the big screen, courtesy of Bond director Cary Fukunaga and Legendary.
Set in 2089 Tokyo Ghost, tells of humanity’s total addiction to technology as an escape from reality. Peacekeepers Debbie Decay and Led Dent, who work in the Isles of Los Angeles are given a job that will take them to the last tech-free country on Earth: the garden nation of Tokyo.
Rick Remender, the co-creator of the strip with Sean Gordon Murphy in 2015, will be writing the script. Fukunaga’s 007 movie No Time to Die is supposed to be opening in the UK in September, and the US in October.
