Universal Pictures has debuted the trailer for In the Earth, which hits cinemas on June 18.

As the world searches for a cure to a disastrous virus, a scientist and park scout venture deep in the forest for a routine equipment run. Through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the heart of darkness, the forest coming to life around them.

An atmospheric new horror from visionary writer-director Ben Wheatley (Kill List, A Field In England, High-Rise, Free Fire), In The Earth stars Joel Fry (Game of Thrones, Yesterday, Cruella), Reece Shearsmith (The League of Gentlemen, A Field In England, High-Rise), Hayley Squires (I, Daniel Blake, In Fabric), Ellora Torchia (Midsommar), Mark Monero (Wild Bill, Free Fire) and John Hollingworth (1917, Rebecca).
