Hot on the announcement of Naomie Harris’ casting  comes news that Westworld star Jimmi Simpson has also signed up for the Showtime series, shooting in London next month.

Deadline confirmed that Simpson will portray Spencer Clay, “a CIA agent whose obsession with the alien’s true identity drives him to the edge of madness”. Chiwetel Ejiofor plays the new arrival in the series based both on the Walter Tevis novel and the 1976 movie.
