Helen Mirren will be playing the villain in the next Shazam! movie.

She will be playing Hespera, a daughter of Atlas, in the sequel that’s currently shooting. Zachary Levi and Rachel Zegler are also signed up.

David F. Sandberg is directing based on the screenplay by Henry Gayden. Mirren will shortly be seen in the much-delayed F9 reprising her role as Queenie.
