Return to 1950s Soho for Big Finish’s monthly Torchwood release in July.

Samuel Barnett returns as agent Norton Folgate in a full cast Torchwood audio adventure.  Madam I’m sees the return of Dervla Kirwan as Norton’s boss Lizbeth Heyhoe. Set in the heart of Torchwood One, this adventure also stars Bryan Dick as the memory-twisting Adam Smith.

Torchwood, Soho, the 1950s. Disgraced agent Norton Folgate has a new boyfriend, the very lovely Adam. Brilliant scientist Lizbeth Hayhoe meets a charming stranger on the underground, the very lovely Adam. Very soon, Torchwood has a new leader – the very lovely Adam.  With people losing their lives and their souls, Lizbeth and Norton must work out what’s happening to Torchwood. And why is Torchwood preparing to go to war?

Writer James Goss said: “Scott Handcock suggested that it’d be great to bring back the memory-twisting Adam from Torchwood:Series 2. Cath Tregenna’s creation is so fantastically strange, and this is a prequel to that episode which gives us a chance to see a bit more of Adam and also explore the world of 1950s Torchwood Soho, bringing back Samuel Barnett and Dervla Kirwan (Hooray! An hour of the two of them slinging 1950s insults at each other!). Bryan Dick and Sam know each other of old, which didn’t stop Adam from being almost unbearably unsettling in this.”

Torchwood: Madam I’m is now available to pre-order as a collector’s edition CD at £10.99 or on download from the Big Finish website at £8.99. Listeners of the monthly Big Finish Torchwood range can save money by pre-ordering a bundle of stories. A six-release bundle is £60 on CD or £50 on download – or save even more money by ordering all twelve of the latest Torchwood releases together at £110 on CD or £94 on download.
