John Wick’s Derek Kolstad is overseeing Netflix’s animated adaptation of the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell game from Ubisoft.
Kolstad has confirmed to Collider that the first season will comprise eight episodes of around 20-30 minutes (similar to Netflix’s Jurassic World spin-off Camp Cretaceous) and that he’s anticipating there will be sixteen episodes in total. No animation studio has been confirmed yet, although Kolstad hinted that an announcement is imminent.
Splinter Cell follows former US Navy SEAL Sam Fisher on his covert operations for the Third Echelon.
