Mike Leslie is penning Hulu’s adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s novel Maddaddam,
Deadline broke the news that Leslie – previously attached to the Battlestar Galactica reboot – would be writing the pilot and executive producing. The novel was published in 2013, tying into Atwood’s previous novels Oryx and Crake and The Year of the Flood. HBO were previously working with Darren Aronofsky on an adaptation of the trilogy set in a post-apocalyptic world – caused by an engineered pandemic.
