Even though the Hawkeye series hasn’t yet got fully into production, it seems as if a spin-off from it is already underway.
Etan Cohen and Emily Cohen are working on a series around the deaf Native American character Echo, according to Variety. The character will be played by Alaqua Cox in the Hawkeye series. In the Marvel comics, Echo (real name Maya Lopez) can perfectly copy anyone else’s fighting style. She has also been known as Ronin — the title Clint Barton assumed during the “blip” years as shown in Avengers: Endgame.
Echo first appeared in Daredevil in 1999, created by David Mack and Joe Quesada.
