Some familiar genre names have signed up for the second season of The Witcher.

Adjoa Andoh will play Nenneke, with Cassie Clare as Phillippa Eilhart, Liz Carr as Fenn, Graham McTavish as Dijkstra, Kevin Doyle as Ba’lian, Simon Callow as Codringher and Chris Fulton as Rience. Henry Cavill returns in the lead with Anya Chalotra as the sorceress Yennefer, Freya Allan as Ciri and Joey Batey as  Jaskier.

The casting of Yasen Atour as Coen, Agnes Bjorn as Vereena, Paul Bullion as Lambert, Basil Eidenbenz as Eskel, Aisha Fabienne Ross as Lydia, Kristofer Hivju as Nivellen, and Mecia Simson as Francesca was previously announced.

Production briefly started this time last year before COVID, but recommenced in August.
