Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Johannes Roberts, who has directed the reboot of the Resident Evil franchise, has confirmed that the title of the new movie will be Welcome to Raccoon City.

In an interview with IGN as part of the virtual SXSW Festival, Roberts noted that the film will be returning to its horror roots, and also explained the John Carpenter influence on it. (The full interview can be seen here.)

Familiar characters from the games and first films include Chris Redfield (Robbie Amell), Jill Valentine (Hannah John-Kamen), Albert Wesker (Tom Hopper), Leon S. Kennedy (Avan Jogia), Claire Redfield (Kaya Scodelario) and Ada Wong (Lily Gao).
