The Mayor of Boston has declared that March 26 will be Leonard Nimoy Day, in honour of what would have been the Star Trek actor’s 90th birthday.

Nimoy’s daughter Julie broke the news on Twitter. Mayor Marty Walsh said, “I encourage all Bostonians to recognize Leonard Nimoy’s commitment and dedication to the Arts and the lasting impact that he has left on the community,”
