Details are starting to emerge about the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie due later this year.
Producer Fede Alvarez told Bloody Disgusting that it is a direct sequel to the original with “old man Leatherface” – ie the original character – as the primary villain. The film has been shot using practical effects, and similar lenses to those employed for the 1974 movie.
The movie is directed by David Blue Garcia from a script by Chris Devlin. Elsie Fisher, Jacob Latimore, Sarah Yarkin, Olwen Fouéré and Alice Krige star.
