Maribel Verdú has been cast as Barry Allen’s mother – but Billy Crudups has had to leave The Flash movie.
Verdú is best known to international audiences for her role in Pan’s Labyrinth and will be part of the cast for the movie that’s getting ready to shoot in the UK. Crudups has a scheduling conflict from the shifts in timing caused by the pandemic, so his part as Barry’s father will be recast.
