Kazuo Ishiguso’s new SF novel Klara and the Sun is moving ahead into production at Sony 3000.

Deadline is reporting that Mrs America creator Dahvi Waller is set to pen the adaptation of the recently published book about Klara, a robot girl created to prevent teenagers from becoming lonely. This is the story of how she tries to save a family of humans she lives with from heartbreak. Sony 3000 gained the rights last year.
