Robyn McCall’s mission of justice will continue, after CBS confirmed that they were renewing the series for a second run.
“The Equalizer has proven more than equal to the task of engaging viewers and racking up wins on Sunday night,” Kelly Kahl, President, CBS Entertainment said. “We’re extremely proud to see this outstanding broadcast drama, led by Queen Latifah, punch through the competitive landscape and return for a second season.”
The reboot of the 1980s series has maintained its spy background, with Chris Noth’s character Bishop acting as something of a go-between for McCall and the CIA.
