Yet another Star Trek movie script is in preparation, this time from Kalinda Vasquez.

Deadline is reporting that Vasquez, who has written for Star Trek Discovery, is writing the script for Bad Robot. It’s not confirmed if this is using the Kelvin-verse crew, or will be total standalone. Projects from Quentin Tarantino and Noah Hawley have fallen by the wayside since Star Trek Beyond’s release in 2016, with the Star Trek emphasis switching more to television.
