Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

The original TV era Flash, John Wesley Shipp, is making a guest appearance in the second season of DC’s Stargirl.

EW reports that Shipp will return as Jay Garrick for the show’s ninth episode, described as a “pivotal flashback episode” that sets up “the Golden Age Flash as a member of Earth-2’s Justice Society of America”. This means that Stargirl will officially become part of the CW-verse’s line up “alongside The Flash, Superman & Lois, Batwoman, Black Lightning, Supergirl, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.”
